Starting a child off on the right foot with their dental regime is of utmost importance to us. If we can get the first few visits right, this sets the child up with a positive and healthy relationship with the dentist. We love seeing the little ones at our clinic and have a number of different ways to ensure they are at ease each time they visit us.
Dedicated Kid’s Waiting Area
The kids love coming in and hanging out in the children’s waiting area. We have this room fitted out with kid’s furniture, cool wall décor, TV with Netflix, books and toys. Not only is this a great spot for kids to lounge out while waiting for their appointment, but it also gives them an area to wait while other members of the family are being seen to.
Children’s Treatment Room
Our children’s treatment room is also bright, fun and as less clinical as we can make it. With the kids first visit, we love to show them the different things in the room and answer any questions they may have. We keep things age appropriate and explain things to your child as we go along. We find that this instils trust in the child and better cooperation. Throughout the dental visit, your child can watch their favourite Netflix show/movie too!

Medicare has introduced the Child Dental Benefit Scheme. This allows us to bulk bill eligible children from the ages of 0 – 17yrs. Medicare offer $1052 to eligible children to be used over 2yrs.
