Have you heard about bulk billed dental? Medicare introduced the Child Dental Benefits Scheme back in 2014. This scheme is designed to help families take care of their children’s teeth without hurting the hip pocket!
The child dental benefits scheme is for eligible children between the ages of 2 and 17 years. Eligible children are granted $1013 to use for general dental treatments. This includes check up and cleans, x-rays, fillings, fissure sealants, extractions and more! The funding is granted every two years starting from the first year you have accessed the funding.
Being the middle of 2021 already, we like to remind patients about this Medicare offer, as it is not confirmed for the next year as yet. Therefore, it is best to make the most of this funding while it is on offer.
