Patient Information

At Ipswich Dental Care, we understand that your time is important, and for this reason, we strive to run on time for all appointments. In the rare occurrence that we are not running on time – our receptionist will endeavour to contact you to avoid or minimise the inconvenience of you having to wait for your appointment.

If you have a tight schedule, you are more than welcome to contact our reception for updates on how your dentist is running prior to your appointment if necessary.

To help us provide this service, we kindly ask that you arrive to your appointment on time.

Payment Policy

At Ipswich Dental Care we do not offer accounts, therefore, we do require payment on the day of treatment.

To help with this we do have the HICAPS facility for easy private health claiming. We also accept Cash, Eftpos and Cheques.

If you have been found eligible for one of the government dental schemes – some or all of your treatment will be bulk billed so please ensure that you bring your medicare card and any relevant government letters or vouchers to each appointment.

Practice Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your appointment please contact us on (07) 3202 3999 at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Our receptionist will endeavour to contact you regarding your appointment via telephone or SMS between 2-3 days prior to your appointment.

Please be aware that when you make an appointment with Ipswich Dental Care, this time is reserved exclusively for you. Although we endeavour to provide a courtesy reminder for your appointment, it is your responsibility to attend your appointment on time or call to reschedule at least 48 hours in advance (where possible) if you are unable to attend.

We understand that under some circumstances, 48 hours notice for cancellations is not always possible and we certainly take this into consideration, but for repeated short notice cancellations, please be aware that a cancellation fee or deposit may be required in order to make future appointments with our clinic.

We appreciate your help with this as our dentists schedules do become very busy and this allows us time to offer this booking to one of our patients waiting for an appointment.
