Arthur continually undertakes additional training through books, courses and seminars to upgrade his skills in all areas of dentistry, with the goal of becoming skilled enough to make dentistry more accessible and affordable to the every man.
Education and experience
Hailing originally from Malaysia but having made his home in Brisbane, Dr Arthur Leow is one of the associate dentists of Ipswich Dental Care. Having spent most of his childhood travelling from country to country, Arthur committed to completing his dental degree in New Zealand in 2012.
Graduating from the University of Otago, New Zealand after completing a study to determine an orthodontic norm in the Maori ethnic group, Arthur spent most of his career in the Brisbane area practicing in various private clinics.
Dr Arthur Leow ‘s particular interests and future plans
Arthur is particularly interested in fixed prosthodontics, crowns, bridges and veneers in order to maximise the longevity of a tooth. Future plans include learning more about full-mouth rehabilitation, orthodontics, endodontics, implants and studying more esoteric areas of dental care such as lasers, sleep dentistry and the relationship of the jaw to the teeth (occlusion).
Patient dental care is of utmost importance to Arthur and as such, he strives to be as gentle and considerate as possible with his patients to ensure they have a pleasant experience in his care. He firmly believes in the practice philosophy at Ipswich Dental Care and approaches any treatment with a long term view towards helping you keep your teeth for life.
Understanding children’s needs and requirements
Anybody seeing Arthur can rest assured knowing that he tries his utmost to fit his dentistry to their lifestyle, and that there are no ulterior motives. Arthur is quite comfortable around children, knowing that they have their own needs and requirements in dentistry are not just ‘little adults’.
Dr Arthur Leow ‘s personal interests
Outside of dental care, Arthur enjoys reading the occasional fantasy novel, playing basketball, tennis, team-based computer games with his friends and experimenting in the kitchen.
